The checks we carry out at more than 230 points include the following:

Diagnostic – Electrical inspection:

This refers to the electrical inspection of the vehicle and includes all control units present in each model. It is conducted using specialized equipment tailored to each car model. We have all the necessary technological tools, as well as trained personnel, in order to detect any electrical malfunction.

Mechanical inspection

This inspection focuses on assessing the mechanical condition of the vehicle. Every car has its own unique characteristics, which require specialized knowledge. For this reason, we provide our technicians with all the necessary tools for a thorough inspection of each model, combined with ongoing training through engineering seminars.

Structural & Accident-Free Verification

This process concerns the vehicle’s structural integrity and is carried out by a dedicated team with expertise in bodywork repair. The inspection is meticulous and includes all structural components of the vehicle, which are carefully examined for any inconsistencies or signs of previous damage.

Rolling quality check

This refers to the proper functioning of the vehicle while in motion. Our technical team conducts specific tests to ensure your safety on the road.

Mileage authenticity verification

This process verifies the authenticity of the vehicle’s recorded mileage. It is carried out through five stages:

Chassis number verification on the official Pan-European platform of each manufacturer.
Inspection of the vehicle’s internal electronic control units (ECUs).
Review of the vehicle’s history via the national K.T.E.O. electronic database.
Original Manufacturer’s Service Booklet.
Customs Clearance Documentation (applies to imported vehicles).

Recall/Update check:

This involves checking the online database of each car manufacturer for any recalls or software updates available for the specific vehicle. It is essential that all manufacturer-recommended updates have been completed to ensure the vehicle’s optimal performance and safety.

Vehicle identification check:

This process includes verifying the vehicle’s detailed identification data. At this stage, we ensure that the chassis number listed on the registration document matches the one stamped on the vehicle. Additionally, we inspect the engine number for any signs of tampering.

Once the vehicle successfully passes all these inspections, it is transferred to one of Automarin’s showrooms.
